What Are Credits?
The credit program (the “Program”), sponsored by Italic, Inc. (“Italic”) allows you to earn credits (“Credits”) that can be used to purchase products from Italic. These terms contain important information regarding the Program, so please read them carefully. Italic may change the Program and these terms from time to time in its sole discretion, without notice to you, so you should check these terms periodically.
How to Earn Credits
To open a user account, you must meet the requirements described in the Terms of Service.
Both Bold Members and non-Bold Members may earn Credits by taking various actions (“Eligible Events”), but Bold Members will have more opportunities to earn Credits than non-Bold Members. The number of Credits to be awarded will be described to you when you participate in the Eligible Event.

Credits are earned through purchases made with non-store credit payment types, including credit/debit cards and buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) options.
Credits are issued immediately after an Eligible Event. You can see your Credit balance in your account settings page and check-out cart, and can view previous Credit transactions. Your Credits do not expire as long as you have an active Italic account.
How to Use Credits
Each Credit will equal $1 (in U.S. Dollars) when redeemed. Credits are redeemable solely towards the purchase of products on Italic. You may not use Credits for the purchase of Italic gift cards.
Any balance of Credits will automatically be applied to the total value of your order at checkout, but you have the option to remove the automatic application and use other payment methods. If you do use your Credit balance, and it doesn’t cover the cost of your order, you will need to pay the remainder with another payment .
There is no minimum balance required to use your Credits. You cannot redeem Credits for more than the total amount of your purchase. Credits are not redeemable for cash.
Refunds & Returns
If you purchase products with Credits (whether covering part or all of the purchase) and return those products to Italic, your refund (or the Credit portion of your refund) will be in Credits equal to the amount of Credits you redeemed (not cash or a credit/debit card refund).
If earn Credits on a purchase of an Italic product, and then return the product, the earned Credit will be removed from your account.
Transferring Credits Between Membership and Non-Membership
If you are currently a Bold Member with a Credit balance in your account, and you cancel your Bold Membership, your existing Credit balance will stay in your account. If you ask Italic to delete your account entirely, you will forfeit any existing Credit balance.
Credits Are Different from Discounts
Suspension, Termination, Revaluation, Modification
Italic may suspend, terminate, revalue, or modify, without liability or notice to you, all or part of the Program or Credit value structure. Italic may adjudicate all Credit discrepancies in Italic’s sole discretion. Italic will not be liable to you for unused or forfeited Credits and will not pay out or reimburse you in any way.
Italic may, in its sole discretion, terminate or suspend your participation in the Program for breach of the Terms of Service, or for taking any actions that are inconsistent with the intent or spirit of the Program or these terms. Any decision Italic makes relating to termination or suspension of your participation in the Program is final and binding.
Credits cannot be combined with discounts or cash back unless otherwise stated. Credits are not valid on purchases that were made prior to joining the Program. Credits may be taxable, depending on the value of the item and the federal, state, and local tax laws applicable to you. You are solely responsible for reporting such items on your tax returns and paying any associated tax liability. You may not transfer any Credits to any other person. Italic makes no warranties as to any Credits.
